Every year Kansas City, Missouri has an Aviation Expo at the Downtown Airport. For the last few years they've ended it with a Balloon Glow. I wasn't able to make it to the Aviation Expo itself this year but I did make the glow.
They start the evening off with a free concert - Brody Buster again this year but they'll probably have to find someone else next year because I just read that Brody is moving out to the West Coast.
After the concert the balloons get set up and things start glowing! This year they set up a little earlier than usual due to a chance of bad weather moving in (it didn't).
These are the shots from my film camera - the skies should be darker but they printed / scanned them not realizing that many of these are actually night shots due to the brightness of the balloons. Just goes to show you how much information a color negative can capture.
