Proving once again that the best times to buy tickets are at the ends of the sales, my wife and I were at the box office just after they released the 'held' seats for Weird Al Yankovich's 04/14/2004 concert in Topeka, KS. We wound up sitting in the front row next to Amber, who'd bought her ticket as soon as they went on sale.
Even with just my little 'point & pixelate' digital I was able to get a fair number of good shots at that range. Had to set to 800 speed so there's a little 'grain' in the images, but I kind of like that look for concert pictures.
Thanks, Al, for sharing such joy at a time in your life when it's such short supply.
